“When
Will the Rapture Occur?”
The foremost burning question on most everyone’s mind is the timing of the Rapture. Yeshua/Jesus did say that no man knows the hour or the day but My Heavenly Father.
The Rapture will most probably take place on Rosh Hashanah or Feast of "Trumpets" According Corinthians 15:51 & 52, this is when the "catching away", the Rapture takes place. And all other events revolve around the event of the Rapture.
Once the timing of the Rapture has been determined then many of the other events would be more easily understood and time lines established. Most everyone thinks that understanding revelation and the corresponding chapters and verses are too difficult but believe me when I say they are NOT too difficult. In fact they are easy to put together with a few keys which open up verses and sometimes the entire chapter. You will be amazed how simple it can be once you understand a few basic scriptures. The intention here is to give the End Time Events a structure that should be easy to comprehend. Much of Revelation and the connecting scriptures from other books hopefully will come in to clear view and much of the uncertainty will be resolved.
There is a saying, place four men in a room and you will have five opinions as we all have opinions and ideologies that have become a part of who we are. Yet, if we lay those aside for the moment, we may see something we had not seen before. When looking through the lens of our doctrines, (things we believe) the lens can distort what we are attempting to study.
There are three primary thoughts as to the general timing of the Rapture.
Pre-tribulation, Mid-tribulation and Post-tribulation, each of these three have supporters and detractors.
The most popular (and for good reason) is the Pre-tribulation scenario. I also fall in to this category HOWEVER with a very defined pre-condition. Many believers have a greater comprehension of end times because of study and the Holy Spirit opening up their understanding.
The actual Tribulation Period is NOT designed for Believers, period.
The 7
year period is for all unbelievers, and is the time for Israel to come to her
Messiah, Yeshua.
Having claimed to be of the
Pre-Trib group, there is “one
gigantic caveat” to all of this,
and that is the actual TIMING OF THE RAPTURE.
Before
the rapture takes place….
In Rev. Chapter 6,
the first four seals,
Verse
7, When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of
the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8
So
I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death,
and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them
over a fourth of the earth,
to kill with sword, with hunger, with death,
and by the beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:2-8 NKJV
Pay special attention to the Highlighted portion,
over a fourth (25%) of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death,
Pay special attention to the highlighted portion,
released to kill a third (33.3%) of mankind.
Between these two events, 25% and 33.3% = 58.3% of the earth’s population will have been killed.
These will represent both believers and unbelievers. They will have died as a result of persecution,
wars, starvation, plagues, and natural and God ordained disasters.
However the “Rapture” still has not taken place!
AND
Neither has come the "Wrath" of G-d
both of these occur in Revelation Chapter 11
So it is a Pre-Trib Rapture!
Rev Chapter 6:16 Wicked men and
armies (note, commanders) are coming through the Mountains to attack Israel.
There is a great earthquake and "they" say to the mountains to fall on them for
the wrath has come.
Whenever evil men are judged, it will feel like G-d's wrath.
15
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and
He shall reign forever and ever!”
And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on
their faces and worshiped God,
saying:
(This is where the actual wrath comes at
the sounding of the 7th Trumpet)
“ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
The nations
were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your
servants the prophets and the saints,
The
fact of the matter is that many if not most believers will have already been
taken in death before the actual Rapture takes place. Over half the world’s
population have been removed and only roughly 40% remain when Chapter 11 (where
the rapture occurs) finally arrives.
The
Two Witnesses, Enoch and Elijah
(the first Gentile & the first Jew who were
taken by God without dying a physical death. Rev 11:3
Neither of these experienced a phyiscal death, Enoch did not see death
(Hebrews 12:5),
Elijah was taken alive by a chariot of fire.
NOTE:
many believe that one of the witnesses is Moses, this is incorrect because of
Hebrews 9:27 which states that men are appointed but once to die. Since Moses
has already experienced death once, he can not be one of the two witnesses
because both of the Two Witnesses die.
There will be much loss,
suffering and martyrdom that the True Body of Messiah will endure. There
will be great persecution of the Saints. As times grow darker, the light will be
on display. We are those lights and darkness can not dwell with light. By our
mere presence, heavy conviction will fall upon all unbelievers and it will not
be welcomed and as a result, they will look for every opportunity to rid
themselves of every believer. It will not matter what denominational persuasion
you are, so long as you are born again and profess your beliefs, you will be
targeted!
During this time, The “True
Church” will provoke the Jews to Jealousy and the Jewish believer and the True
Church will become that “One New Man” found in Eph 2:15. Many Jewish people will
turn to their Messiah. Meanwhile the Church will become that pure and spotless
bride she was intended.
She will accomplish more in her last few years than She had in the prior 1700
years,
since the Council of Nicaea.
Most of the Church currently
believes that the Rapture takes place at the end of Rev Chapter 3 which could
not be further from the
truth and because of this teaching, the Church has become lethargic and
fallen asleep. The most difficult part about this doctrine will be the
disillusion that will set in when those beliefs are not realized. In addition,
the Church is wasting precious time and not preparing either herself or others
for the Coming of the Great Harvest, therefore pray to the Lord of the Harvest,
that He will send laborers.
The actual timing of the Rapture will take place in Revelation Chapter 11.
“This is where
two key events take place,
the Last Trumpet is blown”
and the wrath of God is about to fall.
This comes from “2 key verses” to understanding the timing of the Rapture.
1st Corinthians 15:51-52 which states,
Behold, I tell you a
mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. NKJV
(This is a description of the Rapture)
The Book of Revelation was
the last book written and therefore is placed at the very end of the bible.
In this book, there are 7 Trumpets that are blown and each trumpet brings more
chaos but
the seventh and last trumpet brings
JUDGEMENT
to the earth.
Remembering that
Believers are not appointed
to His wrath, we can safely assume that
the Rapture will take place BEFORE the wrath of God falls.
The Seven year
Tribulation period begins in Revelation Chapter 12
There are 7 years of Tribulation and there are
7 corresponding Chapters
for these 7 years.
Chapter 12 – 18 inclusively
Then
In Chapter 19,
the scene changes,
We are in
Heaven at the
Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Yeshua/Jesus.
